My kids think that National Geographic Kids Almanac 2026, is like jumping into a book packed with cool surprises on every page. They love flipping around and finding fun facts about animals, space, science, and the world, plus tons of bright photos that made them want to keep reading (yay!). It’s the kind of book where you can open to any page and instantly learn something awesome.
What I liked most is that it doesn’t feel like homework at all, it’s more like a mix of a fact book, a game book, and a magazine all in one. There are jokes, quick facts, maps, and activities that make learning fun and easy. I’d definitely recommend this almanac to anyone who has curious kids who like discovering new things and asking lots of “wow, really?” questions.
My son had so much fun reading Greeking Out: Tales from the Underworld! It’s a collection of 20 spooky and exciting stories about gods, monsters, heroes, and what the afterlife was like in myths from ancient Greece and around the world. The stories are told in a funny, kid-friendly voice that made me feel like you're listening to a cool storyteller, and the playful pictures helped bring everything to life.
When I read through it, what I liked best is that it feels a bit like campfire tales mixed with real history, some parts made me laugh, some parts gave me chills, and almost every page taught me something new about different cultures’ ideas of the underworld. Even though it talks about scary underworld adventures, it never feels too intense for kids.
