I read Menudo Sunday with my kids, and it instantly became a favorite in our house. The story follows a big, loving family gathering for their traditional Sunday meal, a big pot of menudo, while counting everything from uno to quince in both Spanish and English. My kids loved shouting out the numbers and spotting all the details in the lively, colorful illustrations. The warmth of family, food, and fun really shines through on every page.

What I loved most was how naturally it introduced Spanish words and culture. Even though we don’t speak Spanish fluently, the rhythm and repetition made it easy for the kids to pick things up, and the glossary at the end helped us learn together.
